"The
meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two
chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are
transformed."
-- C.G. Jung
Welcome
to Okanogan Call, my online quality of life coaching practice. In as much as it is possible in cyberspace, please make yourself at home.
Visit some of the wonderful relaxation
links where you can view beautiful nature photographs
and listen to soothing natural sounds.
Originally my intention for developing
this site was small and specific - to create a way to
stay in touch with my clients during my frequent travels.
Afterall, e-counseling's sharing of words on a screen
could never compete with in-person counseling's marvelous
exchange of visuals, sounds, and energies. Yet, as I researched
the parameters of web counseling, I found myself becoming
fascinated with the possibilities. My curiosity and adventuress
buttons were definitely being tweaked. I knew from personal
experience that journaling was therapeutic. I have always
loved language and it's many textures. The idea of a "zone
of reflection" between communications appealed to
me - I decided to experiment....
Since that time I have incorporated tele-sessions and video-conferencing sessions into our list of options. Both work beautifully!
So, if you too find you are interested,
you can learn a little about
me as a person and a professional. And, if you are so
inclined, you can read my opinions about what
e-counseling can and cannot do, and learn about my
particular views about the process itself. It's my hope
that you'll be able to get enough essential information
that you'll be able to make a reasonably informed choice
about whether or not the services (some of which are,
let's face it, experimental) I am offering, may be the
right ones for you.

So you should taste the filtered light and work
your way toward wisdom with no personal covering.
